Captain Dick Bay is something of a geographical anomaly. While the rest of the waters around Treadleonia are cool to cold, warm currents sweep into the bay and create an almost tropical area, with crystal water and sandy beaches. |

Captain Dick Bay is popular for family outings and picnicking, but note that caution must be exercised in the area around Apothecary Falls and the Wizard's Apothecary Shop. The Wizard is a strange and moody character. He seems to relate well to rebellious teenagers, often acting like one himself in spite of his rumored immortality. |

Given their background, being descended from pirates and having fled across an ocean, it is not surprising that many Treadleonians are avid sailors. While the northern Treadleonian waters, up by the Royal Marina, are popular for open water sailors and long distance racers, the more sheltered and warmer waters of Captain Dick Bay are popular for small boat sailing.
