University of Treadleonia

Treadleonians treasure knowledge, and the history and lore of our country have been preserved in the Halls of Academe. Once a busy, hustling campus, the University now serves as a storehouse of knowledge. Classes themselves have been moved to outlying sites, such as The Quilt Shop, The Sewing Machine Shop, The Wood Shop, etc. Off campus classes, called TOGA's (Treadle On Gathering and Academy) are held at sites all over the country. TOGA's are announced on the email list and schedules are listed in a special secion of the Treadle On Flea Market. Classes at the University itself were dismissed for the summer several centuries ago. If you have studied Treadleonian lore, you know that time here is very flexible. Summer could, in this instance, last for a few more centuries. In the meantime, you are welcome to use the University Library, as well as the other research facilities maintained here.
Please take note of the famous University Library Building (above), designed by Phyllis Anne in 1999. This building is considered a marvel of achitecture. It is also much studied by physisists, as it appears that it was designed some 437 years after it was built, but then, as noted, time in Treadleonia is very relative.
