Singer Treadle Cabinets
While the Treadleonia web site is becoming almost too large to manage, this is one set of pages that needs additional material. We are looking for good pictures of the standard Singer treadle cabinets. If you have such, please contact Captn Dick.

This is obviously not a treadle, but is a somewhat unusual Singer Queen Anne I had not seen before. It shows the transition from a parlor treadle to the electric. |
|
OK, it's not a Singer, but it was too good to pass up… a folding mechanism treadle… here with pedal up, to the right with mechanism folded down. |

Again, not singer… a Minnesota parlor cabinet. |
again, not Singer, but perhaps the most beautiful parlor cabinet I have ever seen, and I have seen it "in the flesh"… It's a New Home… and believe it or not was found painted! |
|
still another non-Singer, but one people look hard for, the White FR in the Mission or Arts and Crafts style cabinet. |
a really beautiful model 12 in as nice an original cabinet as I've seen. |
|
Singer 5 drawer with the large brass drawer pulls |
this one was sent in as unidentified… it has no machine or mechanism in it, but was so nice I had to put it up here… |
|
here's a nice Model 12 in a 4 drawer cabinet. This one makes a great comparison piece with the one to the right. This is earlier… not the smaller foot treadle and the small drive wheel.. |
this from Janet Hillman… compare it to the one at the left… this one has a 15-30 in it (the rose decal one shown on the decal pages) and is later but still quite early. The machine dates to 1904. . Note the "Singer" name in the middle of the braces, not present on the earlier New Family treadle. |
