Treadle Covers
Treadle covers serve a variety of purposes... they keep dust off of the treadle top, keep the sun from fading the treadle's finish, and, in the case of flat treadles, provide a pad for whatever you sit on the treadle that might scratch it. This is especially a problem if you are one of those who like to keep a hand crank on exhibit on top of a treadle. Here are some pictures of a variety of treadle covers and pads.
