We have use plain colours and lots of contrast for clarity, but you can make these in any colours and combinations that please your hearts
It is easier to get good results and accurate piecing with good quality cotton fabrics - particularly if you are a beginner. . They are easier to press, too
Cotton thread is best, if you use synthetic threads, please turn your iron down before you press.
Fabrics should either be all pre-washed, or none. Support your local quilt shop if you have one!
